Guildcrete is a natural cast stone product that is inherently porous and will have variation in color and textures just like natural stone. It is common for this product to show wear and patina as it ages. Guildcrete is factory sealed with a durable clearcoat sealer to help protect against staining and scratching.So long as Guildcrete is properly maintained it will not require any additional sealing and remain durable and beautiful throughout its lifespan.
To keep your Guildcrete countertop looking like new, please follow these steps:
- To clean, use mild soap and water or a non-abrasive cleaner such as Simply Green.
- Wipe up any spills or liquid to avoid the risk of staining or etching.
- Keep the surfact cleaned, rinsed, and free of residues to minimize the effect of oild and acidic products.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives when cleaning.
- Do not use sharp objects as they may damage the clearcoat.
